Are you cleaning out your basement, garage or attic? Keep in mind that the Annual Auction will be here next month . The Auction is our annual fund raiser where items donated by members and commercial businesses are auctioned off, with proceeds going to the club. These are then used to pay for the various social activities that the club organizes. Any item that a sports car enthusiast might find desirable makes for a great donation. Anything Lotus related is guaranteed to be desirable, as well as automotive tools, books, and Lotus related regalia. The Auction will begin after a very brief business meeting, with “Colonel” Joe Nepsa and “Billy Bob” Herzog lead off the auctioneering. Ken “I don’t need a microphone” Olendzki and Erv Schweiger will wrap up a fun and entertaining evening. So start collecting those cast-offs, bring them to the November meeting, and prepare to be entertained while helping out the club.
