A few issues ago, I reviewed the 1:64 scale Lotus Esprit from the James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me". Both road and submarine versions, were available only through convenience stores in Japan and released by Kyosho. Well, it appears that this promotion must have been a success, as Kyosho has now released a complete British car collection through convenience stores.. alas, again only available in Japan .... or ebay, in my case.

As before, these cars are "blind boxed", meaning you have no idea from the outside of the box, what it will be. The good news is that the odds are in favor that you will either get an Elise S1, Exige, Esprit Turbo. Seven, or Europa from the collection....Lotus, are very well represented! Apart from the Lotus marque, there are also offerings from Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Austin Healey.

The Lotus Esprit Turbo is available in Black, White and Copper colors, and contains a nice plastic outer shell, along with an information card on the model. (If someone can read Japanese, I would be curious to know what it says).

Another close up of the detail on the Esprit, this time the white model. As before. Kyosho has done a great job on the detail! Another shot of the copper Esprit, very little has been overlooked on these!

Here is an image of the Exige - available in Black, Silver, and Yellow, from the same series.

I would recommend getting these as soon as you can, as the offerings off Ebay are dwindling! I am not sure the color combinations on the Europa, Seven, or Elise S1, as I have not purchased those ... yet!

Happy Hunting!
